About: There are actually three Argentinian varieties of Torrontes all of which are the offspring of Muscat of Alexandria. These award winning producers vinyards are at a staggering altitude of over 1770m, that is over 400m above the peak of Ben Nevis. These challenging conditions force the vines to dig deep for nutrients which gives them a huge depth and concentration of flavour.
