Tasting notes: An absolute blast of aromas of ripe pear, white peach and melon and this aromatic concentration of fruit delivers in flavour too - this wine is wonderfully candid. There is a superb balance between the off-dry and vibrant acidity characteristic of this style.

Try with: As an aperitif, with roast chicken or works wonderfully with a spicy curry.

About: Pinot Gris has it's origins in Burgundy and is actually the same variety as Pinot Grigio. The difference in name refers to the differences in style and this is a classic off dry expression from Alsace. Legend had it the variety originated from vine cutting brought back from the town of Tokay, Hungary in 1565 and as such was named Tokay d'Alsace or Tokay Gris and has only been officially renamed Pinot Gris in 2007.
