Tasting notes: Pale lemon colour with aromas of lemon zest, green apple, pear and stone fruits and a hints of herby blackcurrant leaf and tarragon. Fruit forward with more flavours of green apple, kiwi, and still that herb quality. The natural high acidic is balanced by the intensity of flavours, richness from lees aging and long mineral finish.

Try with: This wine will make any dish involving herbs sing and is also fantastic with spicy Asian cuisine.

About: Domaine Joel Delaunay is a fifth generation family owned estate practising sustainable viticulture. This is a beautiful example of this style, more subtle than the New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs but still delivering in both intensity and complexity.
