Tasting notes: Beautiful lemon yellow in colour with delicate aromas of lime zest, green apple, citrus and a touch of chamomile. Fresh with flavours of ripe pear but with bright acidity and a mineral finish and an undeniable elegance.

About: Some call Gavi di Gavi the Chablis of Italy and there are certainly similarities in the style and that 'licking a pebble' mineral quality. The vineyards were formally part of a Benedictine convent and the orginal vines were tended by monks.
