Tasting notes: This pale yellow wine holds an array of aromas and flavours from perfumed melon and peach to crisp and fresh green apple and lemon. Fruit forward with a virant acidity in character but careful winemaking including skin-contact maceration before fermentation and aging on the lees (the dead yeast cells - this isn't as gross as it sounds) adds depth and softens this unoaked style.

Try with: Creamy pasta dishes or soft cheese.

About: This is a lovley example of a carefully made unoaked Chardonnay from the south of France. You can taste the cooling summer breezes off the Mediterranean in every glass.
