Tasting notes: Vibrant aromatics of lemongrass, melon, and grapefruit with the classic hints of thyme and blackcurrent. On the palate add to this more tropical notes like passionfruit and a flinty, saline minerality. Pleasingly rich with a lovely acidity in balance with all those aromatics.

Try with: As an aperitif or pair with seafood, chicken and summer salads.

About: The freshness and aromatics of this wine is partly owing to the fermeting at low temperatures, this is a signature technique in New Zealand wines and one that has been adopted around the world. The skill in growing, handling and processing the grape here results in an intensly concentrated wine without the vegetal pungency sometimes associated with New Zealand Sauvignon.
