Tasting notes: This highly drinkable white is a blend of two Italian varieties. Greco adds a vibrant acidty and minerality with stone fruit aromas and flavours while the Fiano adds more tropical fruit to the profile and a certain oily quality and texture enhanced by aging on lees.

Try with: Soft Italian cheeses like Burrata or Mozzarella.

About: Basilicata is, crudely put, Italy's instep. One of the lesser recognised wine regions in Italy this region is producing some very exciting wines. These grapes are from 80 year old vines from vineyards on the slopes of the extinct volcano Mount Vulture factors that add more layers to this bright and fresh wine.
